How do I resize images in Shopify?

When you upload an image to Shopify, you can resize it using the provided tools. There are a few ways to resize an image:

1. Use the Image Editor. This is the easiest way to resize an image.

Just drag and drop the image onto the Image Editor toolbar. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts Cmd+I (Mac) or Ctrl+I (Windows).

2. Use the resize tool.

This is a toolbar that you can find in the Design section of your Shopify shop. Click the resize tool and drag the resize handles to adjust the size of the image.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with HTML or CSS, we recommend that you do not attempt to resize images in Shopify. Incorrectly resizing images can result in broken layouts and images that do not display correctly on your store.

3. Use the Resize Image dialog box.

This is a dialog box that you can find in the Images section of your Shopify shop. Drag the image onto the Resize Image dialog box and then enter the new size in pixels.

4. Use the Image Sizer. This is a toolbar that you can find in the Images section of your Shopify shop.

Click the Image Sizer button and then enter the new size in pixels. The Image Sizer will automatically resize the image to the selected size.

When you resize an image, you should always make sure that the proportions of the image are maintained. If the image is too small or too large, it may not look correct when it is displayed on your website or in your Shopify shop.
