If you want to run a code on Wix, there are a few things you need to do. First, you need to create a new file in the Editor.

To do this, click on the “Add” button in the upper left corner of the Editor. In the “Add” menu, select “Code.” This will create a new code file in your project.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Next, you need to copy and paste your code into the new file. When you’re done, click the “Save” button in the upper right corner of the Editor.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with coding, we recommend that you hire a professional to help you with this. Running code on Wix can be tricky and if done incorrectly, could result in damaging your site or losing important data.

Finally, you need to add a button to your site that will run the code when it’s clicked. To do this, drag a “Button” element from the left side of the Editor into your site.

In the “Button” settings panel, click on the “Action” tab. In the “Action” dropdown menu, select “Run Code.” This will cause the button to run your code when it’s clicked.

That’s all there is to it! Now you know how to run a code on Wix.
