There are a few different ways to save an image with a transparent background in Figma. One way is to use the “Export” function.

Go to File > Export > Export As and select PNG from the drop-down menu. In the “Preferences” window that pops up, make sure the “Transparent” option is selected. You can also click on the “Advanced” button to adjust the export settings.

Another way to save an image with a transparent background is to use the “Save for Web” function. Go to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) and select PNG from the drop-down menu. In the “Settings” window that pops up, make sure the “Transparency” option is selected.

You can also save an image as a JPEG with a transparent background. To do this, go to File > Export > Export As and select JPEG from the drop-down menu. In the “Preferences” window that pops up, click on the “Advanced” button and select the “Alpha Channel” option from the drop-down menu.

No matter which method you use, make sure you save your images in a format that supports transparency such as PNG or TIFF.

PRO TIP: When you save an image with a transparent background in Figma, it is important to remember that the transparency will only be preserved if the image is saved in a format that supports transparency. For example, saving the image as a PNG or GIF file will preserve the transparency, but saving it as a JPG file will not.
