Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:13 pm

When you’re running an online store, it’s important to keep your customers updated on the status of their orders. Sending a shipping confirmation email is a great way to do this.

There are a few different ways to send shipping confirmation emails in WooCommerce. You can use a plugin, or you can do it manually. If you want to use a plugin, we recommend WooCommerce Shipment Tracking. This plugin will automatically send shipping confirmation emails to your customers when their orders are shipped.

If you want to do it manually, you can simply create a new email template in WooCommerce. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails. Then, click on the “Add New Email” button. In the “Email Type” dropdown, select “Shipping.” From there, you can add your own subject line and message body. Be sure to click on the “Save Changes” button when you’re done.

Once you’ve created your shipping confirmation email template, you’ll need to set it up to be sent automatically when orders are marked as shipped. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails and click on the “Shipping” tab. Then, scroll down to the “Order Status Change” section and select “Shipped” from the “Trigger this email when order status changes to…” dropdown.

Conclusion:

Sending shipping confirmation emails is a great way to keep your customers updated on the status of their orders. You can use a plugin or do it manually in WooCommerce. Be sure to set up your shipping confirmation email template so that it’s automatically sent when orders are marked as shipped.
