Namecheap is a great option for private nameservers. You can create an account, add your domain, and start setting up your servers. To get started, you’ll need to create a Namecheap account, and then add your domain. Once you have your domain and account, you’ll need to add your domain to Namecheap. To add your domain, click on the Domains link in the left navigation bar, and then select the Domain you would like to add. On the Add Domain page, you will need to enter your domain name and choose a provider. You will also need to choose a hosting plan and register a CNAME. After you have registered your domain and added it to Namecheap, you will need to set up your private nameservers. To set up your private nameservers, click on the Nameservers link in the left navigation bar, and then select the Nameservers you would like to add. On the Add Nameserver page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. You will also need to choose a zone. After you have set up your private nameservers, you will need to set up your DNS records. To set up your DNS records, click on the DNS Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the DNS Records you would like to add. On the Add DNS Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your DNS records, you will need to set up your A Records. To set up your A Records, click on the A Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the A Records you would like to add. On the Add A Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your A Records, you will need to set up your MX Records. To set up your MX Records, click on the MX Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the MX Records you would like to add. On the Add MX Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your MX Records, you will need to set up your CNAME Records.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with DNS servers and how they work, we recommend that you refrain from setting up private nameservers. Incorrectly configuring DNS servers can cause serious problems for your website, including decreased performance and downtime.

To set up your CNAME Records, click on the CNAME Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the CNAME Records you would like to add. On the Add CNAME Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your CNAME Records, you will need to set up your NS Records. To set up your NS Records, click on the NS Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the NS Records you would like to add. On the Add NS Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your NS Records, you will need to set up your SOA Records. To set up your SOA Records, click on the SOA Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the SOA Records you would like to add. On the Add SOA Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your SOA Records, you will need to set up your PTR Records. To set up your PTR Records, click on the PTR Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the PTR Records you would like to add. On the Add PTR Record page, you will need to enter your hostname, server address, and port. After you have set up your PTR Records, you will need to set up your CNAME Records. To set up your CNAME Records, click on the CNAME Records link in the left navigation bar, and then select the CNAME Records you would like to add. After you have set up your NS Records, you will need to set up your SOA.
