How do I set up weight based shipping in WooCommerce?

Setting up weight-based shipping in WooCommerce is easy. First, create a new shipping zone in your WooCommerce store. You can do this by going to Settings > WooCommerce > Shipping Zones. Once you’ve created your zone, set the weight value for each item in your store.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products online, you may want to consider using weight based shipping. This allows you to set different shipping rates based on the weight of the products being shipped. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before setting up weight based shipping.

First, you will need to make sure that your product weights are accurate. If the weights are not accurate, your shipping rates will not be either. Second, you will need to decide how you want to calculate the shipping rates. There are two options: per-pound or per-order. Per-pound is more common, but per-order may be a better option if you have products of different sizes and weights.

Finally, you will need to set up your shipping zones and rates. Shipping zones are the areas that you ship to, and you will need to set rates for each zone. Rates can be based on weight, order total, or a combination of both. Be sure to enter the correct information so that your customers are charged the correct amount for shipping.

Next, add a new shipping method to your WooCommerce store. You can do this by going to Settings > WooCommerce > Shipping Methods and selecting the weight-based shipping method you just created. Finally, add the weight-based shipping rates to your cart and checkout.
