How do I show animations in InVision?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:22 pm

InVision is a great tool for prototyping and sharing designs with others, but it can be difficult to show animations and transitions in your designs. Here are some tips on how to show animations and transitions in InVision:

1. Use motion paths: Animations can be easily shown using motion paths.

To create a motion path, first select the path element you want to use, and then use the Motion Path tool to create the path. You can then use the Property Inspector to change the properties of the motion path, such as the start and end points, the easing function, and the duration.

2. Use the Animated Object tool: The Animated Object tool can be used to create animated objects.

To use the tool, first select the object you want to animate, and then use the Property Inspector to change the properties of the object, such as the start and end points, the easing function, and the duration.

PRO TIP: InVision does not currently support animations. If you try to add an animation to your design, it will not appear in InVision.

3. Use the transition tools: The transition tools can be used to create smooth transitions between different animations.

To use the tools, first select the objects you want to transition between, and then use the Property Inspector to change the properties of the objects. You can also use the commands on the toolbar to transition between the objects.

4. Use the duration slider: The duration slider can be used to change the duration of an animation.

To use the slider, first select the object you want to animate, and then use the Property Inspector to change the duration of the animation.
