How do I smooth lineart in Photoshop?

There are a few ways to smooth lineart in Photoshop, but they all have their own pros and cons.

1. Use the Smoothing Brush.

This is the simplest way to smooth out your lineart, and it works well if you just need a quick fix. Just select the Smoothing Brush tool, and use the drag slider to control the amount of smoothing.

However, the Smoothing Brush is not very powerful, and it can’t smooth out very deep lines. Additionally, it can be a bit of a pain to use, because you have to hold down the mouse button while you drag the cursor.

2. Use the Smooth Tool.

The Smooth Tool is similar to the Smoothing Brush, but it’s more powerful and easier to use. Just select the Smooth Tool, and use the drag slider to control the amount of smoothing.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when using the Photoshop tool to smooth lineart, you can end up with distorted or blurred lines. Be sure to use a low setting and work slowly and carefully to avoid damaging your lineart.

The Smooth Tool can also be used to smooth out deep lines, and it works well if you need to smooth out a lot of lineart at once.

3. Use the Healing Brush.

The Healing Brush is a bit more advanced than the other two tools, but it can be very useful if you need to smooth out lineart that’s a bit uneven or has lots of scratches.

To use the Healing Brush, first select the Brush tool. Then, click on the area of your lineart that you want to fix.

Next, use the Heal Tool (or the Brush tool with the Healing setting enabled) to fix the lineart.

The Healing Brush is not as powerful as the other two tools, and it can’t smooth out very deep lines.

However, the Healing Brush is the best option if you need to smooth out a lot of lineart at once, or if the lineart is a bit uneven or has lots of scratches.
