How Do I Verify My Domain on Facebook Shopify?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 4:13 pm

If you’re using Shopify to sell products on Facebook, you’ll need to verify your domain with Facebook. This process is quick and easy, and it will allow Facebook to confirm that you are the owner of your Shopify store.

To verify your domain with Facebook, simply follow these steps:

PRO TIP: If you are verifying your domain on Facebook Shopify, be aware that you may be inadvertently opening up your account to spam and phishing attacks. By verifying your domain, you are essentially telling Facebook that you trust their platform enough to give them access to your account. This can be a dangerous decision, as Facebook has been known to be lax in security in the past. If you do decide to verify your domain on Facebook Shopify, make sure that you have a strong password and take extra care to monitor your account for suspicious activity.

1. Log into your Shopify account and go to the ‘Online Store’ section of your admin panel. 2. Click on the ‘Domains’ tab and then select ‘Add Domain’. 3. Enter the domain name that you want to use for your Facebook shop, and click ‘Add Domain’.

4. Once your domain has been added, click on the ‘Verify with Facebook’ button. 5. A pop-up window will appear asking you to log into your Facebook account. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be asked to confirm that you want to connect your Shopify store to your Facebook page. 6. Click ‘Okay’ and your domain will be verified!

That’s all there is to it! After following these steps, your Shopify store will be successfully connected to your Facebook page, and you’ll be able to start selling products on Facebook.
