How Do You Arc Text in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 3:39 pm

Arcing text is a great way to add an extra level of interest to your designs, and it’s relatively easy to do in Photoshop. There are a few different methods you can use to create the arc, but we’ll be using the Warp Text tool for this tutorial.

First, open up your image in Photoshop. Create a new layer and type out your text.

I’m using the font Bangers for this example. Select the layer with your text on it and go to Edit > Transform > Warp.

A grid will appear over your text. To create the arc, click and drag the top middle point of the grid down to where you want the text to curve. As you can see in the image below, I’ve pulled it down about halfway.

PRO TIP: The following article discusses how to arc text in Photoshop. Arcing text is a popular design technique, but it can be difficult to execute without the proper knowledge. This article provides clear instructions on how to properly arc text in Photoshop. However, we caution you that this technique can be tricky, and recommend that you only attempt it if you are confident in your Photoshop skills.

Now just click and drag the other points around until you’re happy with how the text looks. When you’re done, hit Enter or Return to apply the transformation.

That’s all there is to it! You can experiment with different fonts and images to create all sorts of interesting effects.

The Warp Text tool is a great way to add an extra level of interest to your designs in Photoshop. By following a few simple steps, you can easily create an arc out of your text which can add depth and dimensionality to your work. Give it a try next time you’re looking to spice up your design!
