How do you clone a Linode?

Cloning a Linode is a quick and easy process. You can use the Linode Manager or the Linode Command Line Interface to clone a Linode.

To clone a Linode using the Linode Manager:

1. Open the Linode Manager.

2. Click the Clone button.

3. Enter the Linode’s IP address or hostname.

4. Select the Linode’s storage account.

5. The clone process will begin.

To clone a Linode using the Linode Command Line Interface:

PRO TIP: Warning: Cloning a linode can be a complicated process and may not be possible for all types of linodes. If you are unsure about whether or not your linode can be cloned, please contact your hosting provider for more information.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type Linode-clone -h to see the help information.

3. Type Linode-clone [-a ] [-s ] [-i ] [-p ] [-d ]

4. Type Linode-clone -h for more information.
