gradient tool is a powerful tool for creating linear and nonlinear colors in Photoshop. A gradient can be created by using the gradient tool to create a series of colors, or by manually editing colors in a gradient layer. To create a gradient, first select the gradient tool from the tools panel. Then, click and drag the gradient bar over the area you want to color. To create a linear gradient, drag the gradient bar from left to right.

PRO TIP: When creating a gradient in Photoshop, it is important to first create a new layer. To do this, click on the “Layer” menu and then select “New.” Next, click on the “Edit” menu and select “Fill.” In the “Use” drop-down menu, select “Gradient.” Finally, click on the “OK” button to create your gradient.

To create a nonlinear gradient, drag the gradient bar from top to bottom or vice versa. To edit a gradient, double-click the gradient layer in the Layers panel. To create a new gradient, click the gradient icon in the tools panel. To delete a gradient, select the gradient layer, and click the trash can icon in the tools panel.
