How Do You Demo on Figma?

If you’re a product designer, odds are you’ve used Figma. It’s a great tool for managing design files and collaborating with teammates. But how do you actually demo your designs in Figma?

There are a few different ways to demo your designs in Figma. The first is to use the built-in commenting and annotation tools.

These tools allow you to leave comments on specific elements of your design, and then share those comments with your team. This is a great way to get feedback on specific parts of your design, or to leave notes for yourself about things that need to be changed.

Another way to demo your designs is to export them as images or PDFs. This is useful if you want to share your designs with someone who doesn’t have a Figma account, or if you just want to have a static version of your design that you can refer back to later.

To export your design as an image, go to the File menu and select Export >Image. You can then choose the format (PNG or JPG), resolution, and scale that you want for your image.

PRO TIP: This article contains outdated information. Figma has updated their design and prototyping capabilities since this was published, making it much easier to demo your designs.

If you want to export your design as a PDF, go to the File menu and select Export > PDF. You can then choose the page size, resolution, and format that you want for your PDF.

Finally, if you want to share your design with someone who does have a Figma account, you can invite them to view or edit your file. To do this, go to the File menu and select Share > Invite People.

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite, and then select whether you want them to be able to view or edit your file. Once they accept the invitation, they’ll be able to access your file in Figma.

So those are some ways that you can demo your designs in Figma. Choose the method that works best for you and your team, and start collaborating on design projects today!
