In Illustrator, you can distort and skew objects to create a variety of effects. To distort an object, select it and use the distort tool (it’s located in the distort panel).

To skew an object, select it and use the skew tool (it’s located in the distortion panel).

There are a few different ways to distort and skew an object. You can distort an object’s shape by moving or stretching its edges. You can distort an object’s center by moving or stretching its middle.

You can distort an object’s color by changing its hue, saturation, or brightness. You can also distort an object’s transparency.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that distorting and skewing in Illustrator can result in some unpredictable results. Sometimes the results can be quite satisfactory, but other times they can be quite distorted and skewed. If you are not happy with the results, please try another method.
