There are many ways that you can add color to your Figma designs. One way is to use the color overlay feature. This allows you to add a color overlay to any layer in your design. To use the color overlay feature, first select the layer that you want to add the overlay to.

Then, click on the “Overlay” tab in the right sidebar. Here, you will see a variety of options for adding a color overlay to your selected layer. You can choose the color, opacity, and blend mode for your overlay. Once you have configured your overlay, click on the “Apply” button to apply it to your selected layer.

PRO TIP: Overlays are a great way to add color to your designs, but be careful when using them! If you’re not careful, you can end up with an unwanted color cast on your design.

Adding a color overlay to your Figma designs can be a great way to add some extra color and interest. By using the color overlay feature, you can easily control the color, opacity, and blend mode of your overlays.

This gives you a lot of flexibility in how you use color in your designs. So next time you’re looking to add some extra pizzazz to your Figma designs, be sure to give the color overlay feature a try!
