How Do You Get a Color Palette in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:45 pm

There are a few different ways that you can get a color palette in Figma. The first way is to use the color picker tool.

To do this, simply click on the color picker tool in the toolbar and then click on the area of the image that you want to sample. The color that you sample will be added to your palette.

PRO TIP: Figma is a great design tool, but be careful when using the color palette feature. The colors in your palette may not always be accurate, and you may end up with a design that doesn’t look quite right. When in doubt, stick to the classic color wheel or a trusted color resource.

Another way to get a color palette is to use the eyedropper tool. To do this, select the eyedropper tool from the toolbar and then click on the area of the image that you want to sample.

The last way to get a color palette is to use the color swatches panel. To do this, go to the “Window” menu and select “Color Swatches”.

This will open up a panel with a variety of colors that you can choose from. Simply click on the color that you want and it will be added to your palette.
