How do you maintain scroll position in Figma?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 6:32 pm

When you create a Figma document, the first thing you do is create a figure. This figure is the container for all the content in your document.

To add content to your figure, you simply drag and drop it into the figure. However, if you want to keep track of where the content in your figure is positioned, you need to use the scrollbar.

To use the scrollbar, first click on the scrollbar in the bottom-right corner of your figure. This will open up the scrollbar’s settings window.

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Figma and need to maintain scroll position, be sure to use the “lock” function. Otherwise, your design may not look as intended when viewed by others.

In the scrollbar’s settings window, you’ll need to specify the figure’s width and height. Next, you’ll need to specify the scroll position.

To specify the scroll position, you need to specify the figure’s absolute position, as well as the percentage of the figure’s width and height that you want the content to occupy.

After you’ve set the figure’s width and height, and the scroll position, you can close the scrollbar’s settings window. Finally, you can use the scrollbar to move the content in your figure.

By using the scrollbar, you can keep track of the content in your figure, and ensure that it remains in the same position.
