How do you maintain scroll position in Figma prototype?

An elaborated article on how to maintain scroll position in Figma prototype:

In order to keep track of scroll position in Figma, you can use the following methods:

1. Using the mouse wheel:

If you’re using a mouse with a wheel, you can use it to scroll through your document. To do this, simply rotate the wheel while the cursor is over the element you want to scroll to.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on using Figma to prototype a web or app design, be aware that there is no way to maintain scroll position when linking between pages. This can be a big problem if you have a long page with lots of content, as the user will have to scroll all the way back to the top every time they click a link. There are workarounds (such as using anchor links), but they can be fiddly to set up and may not work perfectly.

2. Using the keyboard:

If you’re using a keyboard, you can use the arrow keys to scroll up and down, and the Page Up and Page Down keys to scroll left and right.

3. Using the mouse wheel and keyboard:

If you’re using both the mouse wheel and the keyboard, you can combine them to scroll through your document more quickly. For example, if you’re using the mouse wheel to scroll down and the arrow keys to scroll up, you can use the Page Up and Page Down keys to scroll left and right.
