How Do You Make a Component Not a Component in Figma?

In Figma, there are three ways to make a component not a component:

    1. Select the component in the Layers panel and click the Make Non-Component button in the Inspector.

    2. Right-click on the component in the Layers panel and select Make Non-Component from the menu.

    3. Select the component on the canvas, then press Alt+Shift+K (Windows) or Option+Shift+K (macOS).

To style text in HTML using < p >, < b >, and < u > tags:

1. This will make the text bold and underlined.

2. This will make the text underlined.

3.: This will make the text bold, underlined, and italicized.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can easily make a component not a component in Figma. This can happen if you accidentally delete the component’s master, or if you change the layer structure of the component. If you do either of these things, you will lose all of the instances of that component, and will have to recreate them from scratch.
