How Do You Make a Horizontal Scroll in Figma Prototype?

Last updated on November 29, 2022 @ 6:51 am

When it comes to Figma prototyping, one of the most common questions is how to create a horizontal scroll. This can be tricky to achieve, but with a few simple steps, you can easily create a horizontal scroll in your Figma prototype. Here’s how:

    1. Create a frame that is wider than the artboard. This will be your “scroll area”.

    2. Place your content inside the frame.

    3. Select the frame and go to the Prototype tab. In the Type dropdown, select Scroll Horizontal.

    4. That’s it! You’ve now created a horizontal scroll in your Figma prototype.

If you want to style your text in HTML using < b >, < u >, and < i > tags, simply select the text box and click on the HTML button in the toolbar. This will open up a window where you can add your HTML code. Once you’re done, simply click Save and Close.

Now that you know how to create a horizontal scroll in Figma prototype, try it out in your next project!

PRO TIP: When creating a horizontal scroll in Figma Prototype, be sure to use the correct settings. Otherwise, your scroll may not function as intended.
