How Do You Scroll Horizontally in Figma Prototype?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:44 am

Horizontal scrolling in Figma prototypes is a great way to add extra content to your designs without taking up too much space. To scroll horizontally in a Figma prototype, simply click on the “H” icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the Figma Prototype ‘How Do You Scroll Horizontally?’ may not be compatible with all devices. Some users have reported issues with scrolling horizontally on their devices, so please test this feature thoroughly before using it in your project.

This will open up the horizontal scrolling menu. From here, you can choose to scroll either by pixel or by percentage. By default, Figma will scroll by pixel, but you can change this setting by clicking on the “P” icon next to the “H” icon.Once you’ve chosen your preferred scrolling method, simply click on the area of the screen that you want to scroll horizontally and drag your mouse to the left or right.
