How Do You Make a Swipe Animation in Figma?

There are a few ways to create a swipe animation in Figma. One way is to use the built-in timeline feature.

To do this, select the frame that you want to animate and then click on the “Create Timeline” button in the top menu bar. This will create a new frame that is a copy of the one you selected.

Now, select the frame that you want to be the starting point of your animation and click on the “Add Keyframe” button in the top menu bar. This will add a keyframe at the current time in your timeline.

Next, move your playhead to the end of the timeline and select the frame that you want to be the end point of your animation. Again, click on the “Add Keyframe” button.

You should now see two keyframes in your timeline. To create the animation, all you need to do is click and drag on one of the keyframes to move it to a different time in the timeline. Figma will automatically interpolate between the two keyframes, creating a smooth animation.

Another way to create a swipe animation is to use Figma’s built-in transition feature. To do this, select the frame that you want to animate and then click on the “Create Transition” button in the top menu bar.

This will create a new frame that is a copy of the one you selected.

Now, select the frame that you want to be the starting point of your transition and click on the “Set Start Point” button in the top menu bar. This will set this frame as the starting point for your transition.

Next, move your playhead to the end of the transition and select the frame that you want to be the end point of your transition. Again, click onthe “Set End Point” button.

You should now see two keyframes in your transition timeline. To createthe animation, all you need to do is click and drag on one ofthe keyframes to move itto a different time in
the timeline. Figma will automatically interpolate between
the two keyframes, creating a smooth animation.

There are a few ways to create animations in Figma, but using either their built-in timeline or transition feature is going to be your best bet for creating smooth swipe animations.
