In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a textured effect in Adobe Illustrator. This technique is useful for adding a sense of depth and realism to your illustrations.

To create the textured effect, first create a new file in Illustrator. Choose a medium-sized object to work with, such as a piece of paper or a piece of cloth.

Next, create a new layer above the object you want to texture. Select the Text tool (T) and enter the text you want to texture into the text box.

To create the texture, choose the Texture tool (T) and select the option to create a procedural texture. The following options will be available:

Width: This controls the width of the texture.

This can be set to Smooth or Grain. Resolution: This controls the resolution of the texture.

After you have set the options, click on the Create button to create the texture.

Now, you will need to add the texture to your illustration. To do this, select the object you want to texture and then click on the Textures layer in the Layers panel.

Select the texture you created and then click on the Add to Selection button.

Finally, you will need to add the textured effect to your illustration. To do this, select the object you want to texture and then click on the Effects layer in the Layers panel.

Under the Effects menu, choose Texture. Select the type of texture you created and then click on the OK button.

Your textured effect is now complete!.
