How Do You Make a Zombie Effect in Photoshop?

Last updated on January 26, 2023 @ 10:38 am

Zombies have been a pop culture staple for years, appearing in movies, TV shows, comic books, and video games. With the release of The Walking Dead tv show, zombies have become more popular than ever.

If you’re a fan of zombies, or just want to have some fun with Photoshop, you can create your own zombie effect. Here’s how:

1. Start with a photo of a person.

It can be anyone – a friend, family member, or even a celebrity. If you want to be extra creative, you can use a photo of yourself.

2. Open the photo in Photoshop and create a new layer.

On this new layer, use the Brush tool to paint over the eyes with black. You can make the eyes as big or small as you like.

3. Next, use the Clone Stamp tool to add some scars and wounds.

You can be as creative as you like with this step – add as many or as few scars as you want. Just make sure they look realistic.

4. To make the skin look pale and dead, go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and lower the saturation level. You can experiment with different settings until you find the right look.

5. To complete the zombie look, add some dark circles under the eyes. You can do this by creating a new layer and painting with a black brush, or by using the Burn tool set to Shadows.

There you have it! Your very own zombie effect in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: The following article contains information on how to create a zombie effect in Photoshop. This effect can be used to create graphic images and should only be used by experienced Photoshop users.
