How Do You Make Angled Guides in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:47 am

One of the most commonly used features in Photoshop is the ability to create guides. Guides are horizontal or vertical lines that help you align elements on your canvas. You can create guides by clicking on the “View” menu and selecting “New Guide.”

When you create a new guide, you’ll be prompted to enter the position of the guide in either inches, centimeters, or pixels. You can also create guides by clicking on the ruler at the top or left side of your canvas and dragging out a guide to the desired location.

If you want to create an angled guide, you’ll need to use the “Line Tool.” To do this, click on the “Line Tool” icon in the toolbar or press “U” on your keyboard.

Then, click on one point of your canvas and drag to another point to create a line. When you release the mouse button, you’ll see a dialog box that allows you to enter the angle of the line.

Enter the desired angle and click “OK.” Your angled guide will now be visible on your canvas!
