How Do You Make Clouds in Figma?

CLICK the Add Layer icon in the toolbar.

In the resulting drop-down menu, select the Rectangle tool.

Click and drag on the canvas to create a rectangle. The dimensions of your rectangle don’t matter too much, but you may want to make it fairly wide.

With the rectangle selected, open the Stroke panel in the Properties Inspector. Set the Stroke color to white and the Stroke Width to 4px.

Next, open the Effects panel. Click on the small “+” icon and select the Drop Shadow effect from the resulting menu.

In the Drop Shadow Settings, set the X-Offset, Y-Offset, and “Size”. For this particular cloud, we used values of 0px, 2px, and 6px respectively. You can experiment with these values to get different results.com/cUwBKvO.png” width=”331″ height=”164″>

Now that we have our basic cloud shape, let’s add some variation to it.

(Optional) To add a more natural look to your clouds, you can use the Blob Brush tool. Simply draw some blobs on a new layer above your cloud layer.

(Optional) You can also add a slight gradient overlay to your clouds by creating a new rectangle on top of your cloud shape and setting its fill type to gradient.

(Optional) To give your clouds some extra volume, you can add a second drop shadow effect with different settings.

(Optional) For an even more realistic look, you can use a combination of all of these techniques.
