How Do You Scroll an Animation in Figma?

Animations in Figma are a great way to add some additional flair and interactivity to your designs. Scrolling animations can be used to add some extra interest to a design, or to help the user navigate through a design.

There are a few different ways that you can scroll an animation in Figma. The first way is to use the built-in scroll controls. To do this, simply click on the animation in the layers panel and then click on the “scroll” icon in the toolbar.

The second way to scroll an animation is to use the mouse wheel. To do this, hover your mouse over the animation and then use your mouse wheel to scroll up or down.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma does not currently support animating individual elements within a frame. If you attempt to scroll an animation, the entire frame will scroll along with it. We recommend creating a separate frame for each element you wish to animate and then animating the frames independently.

The third way to scroll an animation is to use the keyboard shortcuts. To do this, simply press the “Ctrl” key (Windows) or “Cmd” key (Mac) and then use the arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll up or down.

The fourth and final way to scroll an animation is to use the scroll bars. To do this, simply click on the animation in the layers panel and then drag the scroll bar up or down.

So those are four different ways that you can scroll an animation in Figma! Hopefully one of those methods will work for you.
