How Do You Select the Same Color in Figma?

Last updated on November 30, 2022 @ 12:37 am

When it comes to design, color is one of the most important elements. It can set the tone of your design, affect the mood of your users, and even influence their behavior. So when you’re designing in Figma, it’s important to be able to select the same color across different objects.

There are a few different ways to select the same color in Figma:

1. Use the color picker tool
2. Use the ‘eyedropper’ tool
3. Use the ‘color swatches’ panel

Let’s take a look at each of these methods in turn.

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Figma and need to select the same color, be careful! The color selection tool can be tricky to use, and you may end up with a color that is slightly different from the one you originally selected. To avoid this, try using the eyedropper tool to select the exact color you need.

The color picker tool is the quickest and easiest way to select a color in Figma. Simply click on the object you want to change the color of, then click on the color you want to use in the color picker tool. The new color will be applied immediately.

The ‘eyedropper’ tool can be found in the toolbar at the top of the screen. To use it, simply click on the object you want to change the color of, then click on another object with the color you want to use.

The ‘color swatches’ panel is a great way to keep track of colors you’ve used in your design, as well as quickly switch between them. To access it, simply click on ‘Window’ > ‘Color Swatches’.

Then, to select a color, simply click on it in the panel.
