Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 7:13 pm

Setting up a grid in Figma can be done in a few simple steps. First, click on the “Grids” tab in the toolbar and select the “Grid” button. This will open the Grid dialog box. In this dialog box, you can specify the number of columns and rows in your grid.

You can also specify the width and height of your grid, as well as the spacing between columns and rows. Once you have set your grid properties, click on the “OK” button to close the Grid dialog box.

Now, you can start drawing your grid lines. To do this, click on the “Draw” button in the toolbar and select the “Line” option. This will open the Line dialog box. In this dialog box, you can specify the width and height of your line, as well as the starting point and ending point of your line.

PRO TIP: Please be careful when setting a grid in Figma. Make sure that the spacing between the lines is consistent and that the lines are evenly spaced. Otherwise, your design may look off balance and uneven.

You can also specify the color of your line. Once you have set your line properties, click on the “OK” button to close the Line dialog box.

Finally, you can add your grid items to your design. To do this, click on the “Draw” button in the toolbar and select the “Ellipse” option. This will open the Ellipse dialog box. In this dialog box, you can specify the size of your ellipse, as well as the fill color and transparency of your ellipse.

You can also specify the starting point and ending point of your ellipse. Once you have set your ellipse properties, click on the “OK” button to close the Ellipse dialog box.

Congratulations, you have now set up a grid in Figma!.
