How Do You Smooth an Animation in Photoshop?

The first step is to make sure that the frames of your animation are in the correct order. If they are not, you can use the Layers panel to change the order.

PRO TIP: How Do You Smooth an Animation in Photoshop?

– Do not use the “Smooth” function in Photoshop on your animations. It will reduce the quality of your animations.

If you want to add more frames to your animation, you can do so by going to “Window” > “Timeline.”

Then, select the “New Frame” option in the Timeline Window menu. This will bring up a new frame in your Timeline Window.

Then, select all of the frames that you want to smooth. To do this, hold down the “Shift” key and click on each frame.

Once they are all selected,  click on the drop-down arrow at the bottom of one of the frames and select the time of delay that you want to apply to the animation frames. A shorter delay is recommended for smoother animation. This will make the selected frames smooth.

Once you have created your animation, you can export it as a GIF by going to “File” > “Export” > “Save for Web (Legacy).”

This will bring up a new window where you can select the file format as GIF and choose your desired settings.
