How Do You Stretch Elements in Canva?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 9:12 am

In order to stretch elements in Canva, you will need to use the handle of your element. This can be found around your element once you click on it. Once you have selected your element, simply click and drag on the pill handles of the element that you wish to stretch.

Now you have a stretched element!

It is important to note that not all elements can be stretched freely. For example, images and graphics in Canva may have differences in the way they are stretched. Additionally, some elements can only be stretched horizontally or vertically, while others can be stretched in both directions.

NOTE: If you are having trouble stretching an element, it is likely because you are trying to stretch it in a direction that it cannot be stretched.
PRO TIP: If you are not careful, stretching elements in Canva can result in distorted or stretched images. Be sure to check the image dimensions before stretching to avoid any unwanted results.

Conclusion:

The pill handle of your element in Canva is a great way to change the size of elements on your design canvas. However, it is important to note that not all elements can be stretched.
