How Do You Ungroup Figma?

If you’re using Figma to design a website or app, you may find yourself needing to ungroup elements from time to time. Maybe you accidentally grouped some items together, or maybe you need to make changes to an element that’s part of a group. Whatever the reason, it’s easy to ungroup elements in Figma.

To ungroup elements in Figma, simply select the group you want to ungroup and press the Ungroup button in the top toolbar. You can also right-click (or Control-click on a Mac) the group and select Ungroup from the menu that appears.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you may accidentally ungroup something in Figma. Be sure to read the instructions carefully before ungrouping anything.

Once you’ve ungrouped the elements, you can make changes to them individually. You can also regroup them by selecting the elements you want to group and pressing the Group button in the top toolbar. Or, you can right-click (or Control-click) and select Group from the menu that appears.

That’s all there is to it! Ungrouping and regrouping elements in Figma is quick and easy, so don’t be afraid to experiment with different groups until you find something that works for your project.
