How Do You Use Grammarly on Figma?

Grammarly is a great tool for catching errors in your writing, but did you know that you can also use it to improve your design skills? That’s right – with Grammarly’s new Design Mode, you can catch errors in your designs and improve your workflow. Here’s how to use Grammarly on Figma.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma is a design tool, not a word processing tool. As such, it does not have built-in grammar checking capabilities. There are however, a few ways to check your grammar in Figma:

1. Use an external grammar checking tool like Grammarly.

2. Use the ‘Comments’ function in Figma to leave notes for yourself or others about grammatical errors you spot.

3. Share your design with someone else and ask them to proofread it for you.

4. Check your grammar manually by reading through your design carefully.

1. Install the Grammarly Plugin

The first step is to install the Grammarly plugin for Figma. You can do this by going to the Figma Plugin Directory and searching for “Grammarly”. Once you’ve found the plugin, click “Install” and then “Enable”.

2. Activate Design Mode

Once the plugin is installed and enabled, you’ll need to activate Design Mode. To do this, click on the Grammarly icon in the top-right corner of the Figma interface and then click “Enable Design Mode”.

3. Start Catching Errors!

Now that Design Mode is enabled, Grammarly will start catching errors in your design. Whenever it detects an error, it will underline the offending text in red. To see more details about an error, simply hover over the underlined text.

4. Use Suggestions to Improve Your Designs

In addition to catching errors, Grammarly also provides suggestions that can help improve your designs. For example, if it detects that you’re using too many similar colors, it will suggest ways to add more variety to your color palette. To view suggestions, click on the “Suggestions” tab in the Grammarly sidebar.

5. Turn Off Design Mode

When you’re finished using Design Mode, you can turn it off by clicking on the Grammarly icon and then clicking “Disable Design Mode”. This will disable all of Grammarly’s features in Figma, so be sure to turn it back on when you want to start using it again.

By following these simple steps, you can start using Grammarly to catch errors in your designs and improve your workflow.
