How Do You Use Guides in Figma?

Guides are an easy way to align and position elements in Figma. To create a guide, simply click and drag from an existing element.

When creating a guide, you’ll see a blue line appear. This indicates the location of the guide and its corresponding alignment.

PRO TIP: Guides in Figma are used to help align and position elements on your canvas. However, if not used correctly, they can cause elements to be misaligned or positioned incorrectly. Use guides sparingly and double-check your work before sharing it with others.

To remove a guide, simply click and drag it back to the element it was created from.

Guides are a great way to ensure that your designs are consistent and well-aligned. By using guides, you can easily create complex layouts with ease.
