AWS certification is a relatively new certification offered by Amazon. The AWS certification program is currently in its third phase, and it offers two levels of certification: Associate and Professional. The first step in the certification process is to take an online course that covers topics such as Amazon Web Services fundamentals, Amazon S3, and Amazon EC2. After completing the online course, students must pass a exam. The exam is based on the course material and covers topics such as cloud computing, Amazon S3, and Amazon EC2. The passing score for the exam is 70%.

PRO TIP: Becoming AWS certified can take a significant amount of time and effort. Be sure to research the process and requirements thoroughly before beginning.

After passing the exam, students are eligible to apply for AWS certification. The application process is currently closed, but it is expected to reopen soon. The current wait time for certification is six months. Once certified, AWS professionals can use the designation “AWS Certified Professional” on their resume and websites.
