Is Cart Empty WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 3:52 pm

When you add items to your cart in WooCommerce, they are normally displayed in the cart page with the product image, name, price, quantity and a subtotal for that item. If you have a lot of items in your cart, or if some of the items are very similar, it can be difficult to tell at a glance whether the cart is actually empty.

There are a few ways to tell if your WooCommerce cart is empty. One is to look at the top-right corner of the page, where it should say “Cart” and then the number of items in your cart in parentheses. If it just says “Cart” with no number next to it, then your cart is empty.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce, the “Is Cart Empty” message may appear on your screen. This message is a warning that your shopping cart is empty and you need to add items to it before you can continue shopping. If you see this message, please add items to your cart and then click the “Update Cart” button.

Another way to tell if your cart is empty is to scroll down to the bottom of the page. If you see a message that says “Your cart is currently empty,” then that means your cart is empty.

Finally, you can always check the source code of the page. If you see an HTML element that looks like this: <div class="cart-empty">, then that means your cart is empty.

To conclude, these are three foolproof ways to check if your WooCommerce shopping cart is empty.
