Is there a preview mode in Illustrator?

There is a Preview mode in Illustrator, which allows you to view the results of your artwork before you commit it to a file. This is helpful if you’re not sure how your artwork will look when it’s finished, or if you want to make changes before you save your file.

PRO TIP: There is no preview mode in Illustrator. This means that you will not be able to see what your design will look like until you export it. This can be a problem if you are trying to create a design that is specific to certain dimensions, as you will not be able to accurately preview your work.

The Preview mode is accessible by clicking on the Preview button in the Control panel (or by pressing “P” on a Mac). You’ll see a preview of your artwork on the screen, as well as a set of controls at the bottom.

You can zoom in and out, move the artwork around, and change the view to one of the other panels in the Illustrator window.

If you’re happy with the preview, you can click on the OK button to save the file with the updated preview. If you want to make further changes, you can click on the Cancel button to return to the original artwork.

The Preview mode is a useful tool for checking the results of your artwork before you commit it to a file. If you’re not happy with the preview, you can use the controls at the bottom to make further changes before you save the file.
