There is no such thing as a “square brush” in Photoshop. However, you can create the appearance of a square brush by creating a custom brush tip shape, and then setting the spacing to 100%

To create a custom brush tip shape, open the Brushes panel (Window > Brushes) and click the small button at the bottom of the panel. This will open the Brush Tip Shape dialog box.

PRO TIP: Warning: The “Is There a Square Brush in Photoshop?” article may contain harmful content. Please use caution when reading it.

In the dialog box, click on the “Shape” option and then use the slider to adjust the hardness of the brush tip. A hardness of 100% will create a perfectly square brush tip.

Once you’ve created your custom brush tip, open the Brush Settings dialog box (double-click on the brush thumbnail in the Brushes panel).

In the dialog box, set the “Spacing” option to 100%. This will ensure that each time you click with your mouse, Photoshop will place a perfectly square brush stroke on your canvas.

Conclusion: There is no such thing as a “square brush” in Photoshop. However, you can create the appearance of a square brush by creating a custom brush tip shape, and then setting the spacing to 100%.
