What Are the Basic Tools of Photoshop?

Photoshop is a widely used program for editing images and photos. It is also used by graphic designers and web developers to create graphics for websites and logos. Photoshop has a wide variety of features and tools that can be used to edit images, create graphics, and add special effects.

The basic tools of Photoshop include the following:

The Crop Tool

The crop tool is used to crop or resize an image. To crop an image, select the crop tool from the toolbar, then click and drag the cursor over the area you want to crop. To resize an image, select the crop tool from the toolbar, then click on one of the corners of the image and drag the cursor inward or outward.

The Clone Stamp Tool

The clone stamp tool is used to copy pixels from one area of an image to another. To use the clone stamp tool, select it from the toolbar, then click on the area of the image you want to copy.

Next, click on the area where you want to paste the copied pixels. The clone stamp tool will copy all of the pixels in the selected area and paste them into the new location.

The Healing Brush Tool

The healing brush tool is used to repair damaged or blemished areas of an image. To use the healing brush tool, select it from the toolbar, then click on the area of the image you want to repair. The healing brush tool will sample pixels from around the cursor and use them to repair the selected area.

The Eraser Tool

The eraser tool is used to erase pixels from an image. To use the eraser tool, select it from the toolbar, then click and drag over the area you want to erase. The eraser tool will remove all of the pixels it crosses over.
