AWS Free Tier – What happens after 12 months?

If you have been using the AWS Free Tier for the past 12 months, then your account will be automatically upgraded to the full AWS account. As long as you have been using the Free Tier for at least 90 days in the past 12 months, then your account will continue to use the Free Tier.

If you have not been using the Free Tier for at least 90 days in the past 12 months, then you will need to create an account and use the Free Tier to continue using AWS.

PRO TIP: After 12 months of AWS free tier, your account will be automatically charged the standard rate for any AWS resources used.

When you upgrade from the Free Tier to the full AWS account, you will have access to all the features and resources of the full account. You will also have the ability to use the full AWS services, including all the features and resources of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

When you use the Free Tier, you are not charged for the resources that you use. However, if you upgrade to the full AWS account, then you will be charged for the resources that you use.

If you want to continue using the Free Tier, you can do so by creating an account and using the Free Tier. If you want to upgrade to the full AWS account, then you will need to create an account and use the Free Tier to continue using AWS.
