What is difference UI and UX?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:14 pm

UI and UX are two different but equally important aspects of designing a user interface. UI is the look and feel of the user interface, while UX is the experience of using the interface.

UI is the superficial layer of a user interface, while UX is the underlying layer that determines how users interact with the interface. UI should be clean and easy to use, while UX should make the user feel comfortable and in control.

PRO TIP: The terms ‘UI’ and ‘UX’ are often used interchangeably, but there is a big difference between the two. UI stands for User Interface and refers to the graphical layout of a website or app and how users interact with it. UX stands for User Experience and refers to how easy or intuitive it is for users to navigate a website or app.

UI and UX are both important, but they are different in important ways.

UI should be clean and easy to use, while UX should make the user feel comfortable and in control.
