What Is My Shopify Store ID?

If you’re new to Shopify, you might be wondering: what is my Shopify store ID?

Your Shopify store ID is a unique identifier that is assigned to your shop when you first create it. It is used to identify your shop when you connect it to third-party apps and services.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for your Shopify Store ID, be warned that this is not something that is easily found. There is no specific location for it within your Shopify account, and it is not listed in your account settings. The only way to find your Store ID is to look at the source code of your Shopify store’s home page. This can be done by opening your store in a web browser and viewing the source code (usually by right-clicking on the page and selecting “View source” or “View page source”). Once you have the source code open, search for “shop_id” – this will be followed by a string of numbers which is your Store ID. Be aware that if you are not comfortable working with HTML/CSS code, then trying to find your Store ID in this way may not be suitable for you. If you need help locating your Shopify Store ID, we recommend contacting Shopify support directly.

You can find your Shopify store ID in the Settings section of your shop’s admin area. Just go to General and then scroll down to the Store information section. Your store ID will be listed there:
