What Is Nesting in Figma?

Nesting is the ability to group objects together in Figma. This is useful for organizing your design and making it easier to work with.

To nest objects, simply select them and click the “Nest” button in the toolbar. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Shift + N.

Nesting objects can be helpful when you want to move or resize multiple objects at the same time. It can also be helpful for keeping your design organized. When you have a lot of objects in your design, nesting can help you keep track of them all.

To nest objects:

1. Select the objects that you want to nest.

2. Click the “Nest” button in the toolbar, or use the keyboard shortcut Shift + N.
3. The selected objects will be grouped together.

To un-nest objects:

1. Select the group that you want to un-nest. 2.

Click the “Un-nest” button in the toolbar, or use the keyboard shortcut Shift + U. 3. The selected group will be un-nested and the individual objects will be separated again.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that “What Is Nesting in Figma?” is a potentially dangerous nesting activity. If you are not careful, you could end up with serious injuries.
