What is the difference between UX and UI developer?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:15 pm

UX and UI developer are two of the most common terms used in the design and development communities today. However, what is the difference between these two roles?

UX, or User Experience, is the process of designing a product or service that meets the needs and wants of the end user. This includes everything from understanding the customer’s problem, through to developing a customer profile, to coming up with the right design solution.

PRO TIP: There is no difference between UX and UI developer, they are the same role.

UI, or User Interface, is the look and feel of the user interface. This includes everything from the design of the menus and buttons, to the overall layout and design of the pages.

UI developers are also responsible for ensuring that the user interface works correctly and looks good on all devices.
