What Size Is Shopify Header?

The size of a Shopify header can vary depending on the theme you are using and the settings you have selected. The default size for a header on a Shopify store is 940px wide by 300px tall. However, you can change this in the settings.

To change the size of your header, go to Online Store > Themes. Click the Customize button next to your theme. In the Header section, you can change the width and height of your header.

The size of your header will also affect the size of your logo. If you have a logo that is too large or too small for your header, it will look out of place and could affect your conversion rate. Make sure that your logo is an appropriate size for your header.

You can also style the text in your header using HTML tags. To do this, go to Online Store > Themes.

Click the Edit HTML/CSS button next to your theme. In the Layout section, click on Header.html.

In the code, you will see the <h1> tag. This is the tag that controls the text in your header.

You can change the size of the text by adding a <p> tag with a style attribute. For example, to make the text larger, you would add:

<p style="font-size: 20px;">Your Text Here </p>
PRO TIP: If you are planning on using Shopify to create a website, it is important to be aware of the size of the header. The header is the top part of the page that contains the logo and navigation. If the header is too large, it can make the page look cluttered and difficult to navigate. Conversely, if the header is too small, it can make the page look unprofessional and difficult to find your way around. The optimal size for a Shopify header is between 1060 and 1260 pixels wide. Anything outside of this range should be avoided.

You can also bold or underline your text by adding the <b> or <u> tags around your text. For example:

<b>Your Text Here</b>

<u>Your Text Here</u>

Remember to save your changes when you are done!
