There are two ways to figure out which version of Squarespace your site is on. First, you can look at the bottom of your site’s home page. Second, you can log into your site’s Dashboard and look at the version number in the upper-right corner.

- In the upper-right corner, find the question mark icon ().
- Click the icon, then select About Squarespace from the drop-down menu.
- Your site’s version number appears on this page, to the right of Version.
Updates
We release regular updates to improve performance and security, as well as add new features. Use these steps to update your site:
- Log into your Dashboard.
- In the Home Menu, click Settings, then click Advanced, and then click Site Updates.
If an update is available, you’ll see a message indicating which version you’re currently running and what the latest version is. To update your site, click Update Now.
