Where do I find my AWS credentials?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 6:03 pm

AWS credentials can be found on the AWS Management Console. Click on the AWS Region you want to view your credentials in. In the navigation bar on the left, click on Identity and Access Management (IAM). Click on the Users tab.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure of where your AWS credentials are, it is best to contact your AWS administrator. If you attempt to find your AWS credentials on your own, you may inadvertently expose them to unauthorized individuals.

In the IAM Users list, find the user you want to view your credentials for and click on their name. The user’s details page should open. On the credentials page, find the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key fields. Copy the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key values and save them for later use.

Now that you have your AWS credentials, you can connect to the AWS Management Console and access your account’s details.
