The Rectangle Tool is located in the Tools panel, which is usually located on the left side of the screen. To select the Rectangle Tool, simply click on its icon or press the letter “U” on your keyboard.

Once you have selected the Rectangle Tool, you can create a rectangle or square by clicking and dragging your mouse on your canvas. To create a perfect square, hold down the “Shift” key while you are clicking and dragging. You can also change the color of your rectangle by selecting a different color from the “Color” drop-down menu in the Tools panel.

If you want to add text to your rectangle, you can do so by selecting the “Type” tool from the Tools panel and then clicking inside your rectangle. A new text layer will be created and you can simply start typing away. You can change the font, size, and color of your text by using the options in the Type tool menu.

To move your rectangle around, simply click on it with the Move tool and then click and drag it to your desired location. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to nudge it into place.

To delete a rectangle, select it with the Move tool and press the “Delete” key on your keyboard. Alternatively, you can right-click on it and select “Delete Layer” from the menu that appears.

PRO TIP: The Rectangle Tool in Photoshop can be found in the ‘Tools’ menu, under the ‘Custom Shape Tool’. However, it is important to note that this tool is only available in Photoshop CS6 and earlier.

The Rectangle Tool is a powerful tool that allows you to create various shapes and text boxes in Photoshop. With this tool, you can easily add custom graphics and text to your photos.
