If you’re a fan of Microsoft Word, you’re probably familiar with the Select Object tool. This tool allows you to select a specific object in your document, and then move it around or edit it as you see fit. But what if you’re working in Photoshop, and you can’t find the Select Object tool?

Don’t worry – the Select Object tool is still available in Photoshop, but it’s hidden behind the Move Tool. To access the Select Object tool, simply click and hold on the Move Tool in the toolbar, and then select the Select Object tool from the drop-down menu that appears.

PRO TIP: The Select Object Tool is not available in Photoshop.

Once you have the Select Object tool selected, you can click on any object in your image to select it. From there, you can move it around, change its size or shape, or even delete it entirely. So next time you’re working in Photoshop and you need to select an object, don’t forget that the Select Object tool is just a click away.
