Azure for Students is a cloud-based suite of services that enables students and educators to create, manage, and deploy applications and services using Microsoft Azure. The suite of services includes:

Azure Active Directory: Provides a single sign-on experience for accessing resources in Azure and other Microsoft services.

Azure Storage: Provides storage for your applications and data in the cloud.

Azure Websites: Provides a secure, compliant, and scalable web hosting experience for your applications.

Azure Mobile Services: Provides an agile, scalable, and reliable mobile development platform.

Azure Stream Analytics: Provides powerful data analytics for your streaming data applications.

Azure Functions: Provides an easy-to-use platform for building low-code function apps.

Azure Platform Services: Provides a comprehensive set of platform services that enables you to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications.

PRO TIP: Azure for students is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft for students who are currently enrolled at an eligible school. To sign up for Azure for students, you must have a valid school email address. You will also be asked to verify your student status with a valid student ID.

Azure Government: Provides a secure, compliant, and scalable platform for government applications.

Azure Education: Provides a secure, compliant, and scalable platform for teaching and learning applications.

To be eligible for Azure for Students, you must be a student or educator in the United States or Canada. You do not need to be a Microsoft customer.

You can try out the services for free for 30 days. After the 30-day trial, you can continue using the services by subscribing to a plan. There are three subscription plans available for students and educators:.
